Fatih Isik is an emergency, disaster and crisis management professional with more than 20 years of operational experience in search and rescue, incident command, crisis management, and emergency preparedness. He currently leads Disaster Affairs and Risk Management for one of Türkiye's largest metropolitan municipalities and is the Founder & Director of URSA Solutions, a consultancy specialising in operational resilience, emergency management, and technical rescue. Fatih has participated in more than 600 emergency and disaster operations and regularly designs and delivers training, exercises, and consultancy for emergency services, public authorities, NGOs, and private organisations. His areas of expertise include: • Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) • Wilderness & Mountain Search & Rescue • K9 Search Operations • Underwater Search & Recovery • Rope Rescue & Technical Rescue • Incident Command Systems (ICS) • Crisis & Emergency Management • Business Continuity & Organisational Resilience In addition to his personal expertise, he can also provide access to multidisciplinary teams of experienced instructors and operational specialists when projects require broader capabilities.
Bastian Bartels is a firefighter with Volkswagen Osnabrück GmbH, based in Osnabrück Land. He brings operational firefighting experience within an industrial setting, supporting emergency response and safety management within a complex, high-risk environment.
I created ValkyrieSFX in 2025 as I discovered there was a gap in the market for subject matter experts in my field, with the wealth of experience & knowledge I have obtained over the years. As a pioneer in applying bespoke movie-grade prosthetics and wound effects in some of the harshest training environments, I have refined my skills in order to meet the demands of high-risk training, durable & flexible enough to withstand some of the toughest conditions. I have gained over 15 years industry experience, specialising in combat/trauma simulation for elite military units & emergency services worldwide. I collaborate with global organisations as an immersive medical training aid, helping to create realism & impact in tactical training environments. Katie is an Emergency Medicine Consultant and Pre-Hospital Doctor with BASICS Dorset. She has been a doctor for 20 years and started her pre-hospital career working in event medicine before she founded BASICS Dorset. She has previously been Deputy Medical Director for a large ambulance trust and Ambulance Clinical Lead for an Integrated Care board. She has experience teaching both in hospital and out of hospital skills on Resus Council courses and BASICS courses. Katie is trained as operational, tactical and strategic medical advisor with experience at all levels and has completed the College of Policing MAGIC course. with the wealth of experience & knowledge I have obtained over the years.
